Welcome to Erika Davis Designs the place for handmade jewellery. All items are handmade using good quality materials like swarovski crystal, celestial crystal, czech glass, cultured pearls and semiprecious gemstones.
As a member of the embroiderers guild textiles are a prominent feature in my life so I like to incorporate these into my jewellery.
I have recently been experimenting with polymer clay and enamel. In the future I will be adding new shop pages dedicated to these mediums.
My favourite things to work with are czech glass beads, which are renowned for their excellent craftsmanship, dating back to the 11th century. Made of quality glass, the vivid colours will not fade and are consistent throughout.
semiprecious gemstones have been used as both ornament and currency. The earliest known use was in France 38,000 years ago. I have used these extensively on my stick earrings, chandelier earrings and bracelets.
I design and make bridal jewellery on a commission only basis. I prefer to work with the bride to get the right designs to match her outfit.
Bridal bags in a variety of fabrics including silk can also be commissioned. Small pouch bags are very popular, just big enough to hold a few essentials.
I also offer a restringing service. So if you have a favourite piece of jewellery that needs restringing or a new clasp please contact me with your requirements.
